Exercise makes for good blood flow, which benefits the brain.“There is recent evidence that people who get more physical activity get more blood fl ow to the brain,” says Daniel Nation, Ph.D., assistant professor of psychology at the University of Southern California. That’s important because in older adults, reduced blood flow to the brain may be a risk factor for cognitive decline.
