What are the important dimensions for helping us live a balanced life, taking care of our physical, mental as well as social well-being? Behavioural scientists say there are many mutually interdependent dimensions that are very important for ensuring that we live our lives fully, to the best of our potential. The following seven dimensions seem to encompass the important facets in this regard:
Physical Health - The human body is the conduit, the vehicle through whose capabilities we experience everything in life. The oxygen shortage crisis during the second wave of the pandemic in India highlighted how our bodies are performing magic, just by breathing on their own. Our body is the only true companion of ours till death do us part. Hence, it is extremely important that we take care of it through giving it adequate exercise, ample rest and appropriate food.
