APL DESIGN WORKSHOP
The predecessor of Apple Design Workshop (APLdw), Apple General Planning Office Co., Ltd., was established in 1984 by architect Hidetoshi Ono and urban designer Tsuneaki Nakano. In 2005, they were split into two organizations to develop their respective specialized fields, and the department centring on urban design inherits the former company name of Apple General Planning Office, while the department centring on architectural design shares It was newly renamed as Apple Design Workshop. The firm has been involved in a wide variety of projects centred on architectural design for over 30 years since foundation. These projects have been highly evaluated not only by the clients but also by experts, and have won many major architectural awards in Japan. As for their design system, Hidetoshi Ono, Hideki Eguchi, and Shinya Yamamoto will oversee the project, and proceed with the design together with the staff. The brilliant team works with professionals in collaboration with professional organizations who have top-notch work in the field.
