Revolutionary-era america is the focus of turn:washington’s spies.
Returning for the final time to Amazon Prime this spring is Turn: Washington’s Spies, the fourth series of a TV epic based on Alexander Rose’s novel, Washington’s Spies. The novel – subtitled ‘the story of America’s first spy ring’ – looks at the story of the spies who helped America win the Revolutionary War of the 1770s. Rose’s novel, and the TV series, gave a different perspective on the war, looking further than the battlefield to tell the story of spies and double agents. The television series has run for three prior series – each of 10 episodes – and this fourth series will be its last.
