Sweetly Cherished: Tania & Ayron

Tania Olga and Ayron Chia said “I do” on the beach in Bali. With them were 200 cherished guests, who flew in from around the world for their heart warming and gorgeously appointed celebration.

Ayron is from Singapore while I’m from Jakarta. We met in 2015 at a work event in Jakarta, and immediately hit it off. I was 22 at the time and marriage wasn’t even on my mind. We started with a long-distance relationship and, as we learnt to understand each other’s culture and customs, we found ourselves even more in love.

He proposed during our Christmas holiday in Hong Kong last year. We were enjoying a romantic dinner with fantastic views from the restaurant that’s on the 38th floor. He pushed his chair back and got down on one knee. I was so surprised that it took a while for me to realise that Ayron had just asked me to marry him. Of course, I accepted!
