Learning Beyond The Curriculum At GIIS
-
In September last year, GIIS East Coast campus organised interesting bootcamps to gainfully engage students during their term break.
Students were introduced to creative thinking, problem solving and latest technologies through three bootcamps: on App Jamming (Coding) for Std 4, Robotics and Design for Std. 5 & 6 and Entrepreneurship for Std 9 to 12.
Showing remarkable creativity and talent, the Std 4 students trained in basic computer science concepts, algorithms and formulating multiple solutions during the App Jamming (coding) bootcamp. At the end of the programme, participants created an app using App Inventor for android devices.
