Chanel’s J12 enjoys special attention on the occasion of the maison’s 30th anniversary in watchmaking.
AN AIR OF excitement surrounded Chanel at Baselworld as 2017 marked the 30th year of watchmaking for the lauded Parisian couturier. Among its reveals, the J12s stood out as exceptionally alluring. A ceramic timepiece that has been the subject of numerous technical and artisanal embellishments since its gamechanging debut in 2000, the J12 leapfrogged the Première and Matelassé to emerge as the winning face of the couture label. This year, Chanel presents the J12 in new iterations that range from limited-edition models to a decadent high jewellery version set with diamonds and rubies.
