I think there are more Indian women talking openly about their experiences on the sexy internet, but I think it’s also important to remember that we are only talking about a tiny handful in comparison to India’s population. And while the attitudes in certain sections of society may have changed a little bit, if you have a little look at my Twitter mentions, you’ll find that in many ways it hasn’t changed at all. I think men are very threatened by women talking about sexual pleasure – especially about sexual pleasure that doesn’t involve men – and this manifests in different ways, from degrading comments to popular media to our laws themselves.
