Rajasthan: A Royal Experience
April 2018
|Smart Photography
Rajasthan is appropriately named as “the Land of Kings”. It is indeed one of the most beautiful states of India replete with lavish palaces and majestic forts of ‘maharajas’ depicting their fabulous kingdom.

Rajasthan has much more to showcase and captivate the attention of the tourists. This iconic state is the land of deserts, places, vivid art, rich culture and tradition.
The state is also famous for its colorful festivals, traditional cuisines and spectacular handmade artwork. Filled with the incredible attractions and surprises, it is listed among the must-visit state of India.
Tal Chhapar Sanctuary
Tal Chapar (or Tal Chhapar) Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the best kept secrets among wildlife photographers in India. Located in Churu district in Rajasthan, this grassland is about 350 km from Delhi and 200 km from Jaipur by road . Being on the fringes of the mighty Thar Desert means that the park gets very little rainfall every year. Travelling by road, one comes across sand dunes all along the way. On entering the park’s gate, however, the scenery completely changes into a tree-line avenue, opening into a beautiful flat grassland. In fact, the word Tal means flat land.
