India has always been a land of good behavior and giving respect to others is there in each and every Indian. It is inherited in our culture, values and anything which can be associated with us. While growing up, we Indians are taught to be cordial with everyone no matter how they treat you. Even if someone is abusing you, an Indian always tries to be polite and ignore it. Giving back to him in the same manner is not our cup of tea if values are to be believed. A national cricket team is the true representation of our nation as cricketers too are normal Indians and they have got the same kind of education and upbringing. The Indian cricket team of 1980s and 1990s was always on the receiving end when it came to verbal volleys from the opponents. They were so nice that they even smiled back if someone abused them. Players from these generation never had the tendency to retaliate back and this was accepted by the Indian masses as cricketers were the real ambassadors for millions. Their job was to play cricket and win and indulging in anything other than that was never given any importance.
