IT WAS A SIGN OF THE TIMES, OF MINUTES AND HOURS OF INNOVATION. THE FIELD OF BATTLE IS RUTHLESS... and to ask for a time-out to check the devil’s hour could have been fatal. So, tactical timepieces were created to provide all sorts of safety and survivability features—they resisted scratches, shocks, debris and provided light in hard places. Then, they heralded a watch revolution of their own, and demand dictated that these tactical aids be anything but restrictive. As they make their return, here’s a few that have stood out.
