Foggy Conditions In City Delay Early-Morning Flights

The northeast monsoon is set to withdraw from the State around January 8 and a foggy Friday morning in the city was an indication of
this. Over the next few days, however, the State is likely to get stray showers, particularly in coastal areas, according to the Meteorological Department. A blanket of fog descended on most parts of the city till 8.30 a.m. Some parts of the State and Puducherry also experienced a foggy
morning.
