Just before we kick-off against Southampton here at the Lane this afternoon, Spurs Ladies face the biggest, most high-profile match in their 32-year history.
The ladies take on Arsenal in the fifth round of the FA Women’s Cup at Borehamwood’s Meadow Park today at 2pm.
This is the second time Spurs have reached this stage of the most prestigious competition in the ladies’ game and they take on the world-renowned Gunners, FA Cup holders, 14-times winners and a team expected to challenge for honours in the top tier of Women’s Super League 1, two levels above Spurs, who currently lead the way in the FA Women’s Premier League South.
Spurs remain unbeaten after 27 matches of this incredible 2016-17 campaign and as well as topping the FAWPL South, they made history last time out when they took the scalp of a WSL team for the first time, beating Brighton in the fourth round. They are also in three cup finals – all against Charlton.

OBITUARY – JOHNNIE HILLS
We were saddened to hear of the passing of John ‘Johnnie’ Hills, a defender who spent 11 years at the Club as an amateur and professional between 1950-61. He passed away at home in Brussels, Belgium, on Friday, 26 November, aged 87.
