Following a hard year for us all, with the coronavirus pandemic putting the country into three national lockdowns, more and more people are suffering with their mental health – and, in an exclusive interview with Woman’s Own, Linda Robson has bravely revealed that she’s one of them.
‘Lockdown has been hard work,’ she admits. ‘I can’t think of anything good about it. I’m running out of things to clean and tidy, and cupboards to clear out.’
When we chat to Linda – who’s taking part in Celebs on the Farm on MTV – she’s clearly not herself, and when asked if her obsessive-compulsive disorder tendencies, which she’s been battling with since 2018, have returned, the star tells us, ‘Yes, they have.’
This time last year, the Loose Women panellist revealed that she’d secretly been battling anxiety, OCD and depression, following a rare allergic reaction to antidepressants. So it’s heartbreaking to hear that she is once again struggling.
Lockdown lows
Just before the pandemic hit, Linda was finally feeling better and rejoined Loose Women after a year off to open up about her darkest days.
