Lots of women find they indulge a little more over the festive season and it sometimes prompts thoughts of cutting down, or even cutting out alcohol. But a recent survey by charity Drinkaware shows that our consumption of alcohol has actually increased since the pandemic began.

Most of us know that alcohol can have a negative effect on our bodies and minds, but when a habit takes hold, it can be difficult to break. So it’s important to know that reducing our alcohol intake doesn’t have to be an entire life change unless we want it to be. And, if you’re planning on cutting back this January, having some strategies in your armoury will make it that bit easier.
