Wherever you live in the UK, our beaches have a very special place in our hearts. Who doesn’t love a trip to the seaside? Our beautiful coastline is where memories are made.
But it’s not just an emotional attachment. The ocean covers 70% of the earth, and is vital to our very existence and that of the planet.
Unfortunately, pollution, rising water temperatures, overfishing and many other factors are placing the oceans under increasing threat.
But it’s not too late to start protecting our glorious seas for future generations. Here are five ways we can all make a difference.
