Harry is still haunted by Charles’ past and rumours about his mum

Given that just three years ago Prince Charles was busily planning – and paying for – one of the biggest royal weddings in history for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the bitter rift that has since exploded between father and son becomes all the more intriguing.

As the dust continues to swirl from the fallout of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s sensational claims against the royal family during their prime-time interview with Oprah Winfrey, the palace is now determined to find out where, exactly, it all went wrong for the Prince of Wales and his rebellious youngest child.

At the centre of 36-year-old Harry’s grievances seems to be his claim that Charles cut him off financially and stopped taking his calls when he decided to move his 39-year-old wife and their son Archie, now 22 months, to North America.
