Huge rewilding paradise planned for South Africa

WORK IS UNDERWAY ON A massive 'first-of-its-kind' rewilding project to develop South Africa's Loskop Dam Nature Reserve and adjacent W areas into one of the largest protected wildlife reserves in the country. Located about 180km east of Pretoria, the reserve is home to at least 30 endangered species, including the southern white rhino, Temminck's pangolin and sable antelope, as well as unique plants, such as the Critically Endangered Middelburg cycad. The reserve is rich in cultural heritage, too.
