This resistance is often rooted in deeply ingrained beliefs about control, authority, and accountability, which have long been seen as essential to maintaining order and achieving predictable outcomes. Hierarchies provide a clear chain of command, which can simplify decisionmaking processes and clarify roles and responsibilities.
