HER IMPACT HIS WORDS
March - April 2025
|MARWAR India
For this special feature, we spoke to some of the country's leading names— Mr. Harshavardhan Neotia (Chairman, AmbujaNeotia Group), Keshav Bhajanka (Executive Chairman, CenturyPly), Dr. Siddhartha Sacheti (CEO, Jaipur Gems) and Mr. Vishal Jajodia (Chairman and Managing Director, Swati Spentose Pvt. Ltd.)—to hear their thoughts.
Success can never be built in isolation. Behind every accomplished man, beyond the long hours and relentless ambition, stand remarkable women; those who nurtured, guided, uplifted and inspired them. While Women's Day is a celebration of their strength, it is also a great opportunity for introspection. How have women shaped their lives? What invaluable lessons have they imparted? And most importantly, how can men do more to truly honour and appreciate them?
Through heartfelt anecdotes, they reflect on the women who shaped their journeys, the wisdom they’ve gained, and the role men must play in fostering real appreciation. And as a fitting tribute, they leave us with a wish for the women of the world.
Q. How have the women in your life—whether it’s your mother, partner, friends, or colleagues—pushed you to grow?Harshavardhan Neotia:
The women in my life—my grandmother, mother, Bari Ma, wife, daughter and sister—have been the foundation of my values. My grandmother was the heart of our home. She had this incredible ability to make everyone feel cherished, safe, and understood. Her gentle presence was a reminder that love is the greatest force of all. My mother guided me with her wisdom, always leading with quiet determination and grace. Bari Ma embodied the spirit of family first, always ensuring that no one ever felt alone. My wife, with her strength and ability to balance so much, has been my steadfast support, teaching me the power of standing strong yet staying soft. My daughter, with her fresh perspective, reminds me to always embrace change and keep learning. Through my sister, my childhood companion and lifelong pillar, I have learned the value of trust, shared laughter and the quiet strength of knowing someone always has your back.
