Accused serial killer's wife trapped in hell

TORMENTED Asa Ellerup — the estranged wife of accused Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann — has broken her silence to detail her family’s devastation in the wake of her husband’s shocking arrest for slaying three sex workers on Long Island! “Everything is destroyed,” says the 59-year-old housewife, who’s been married to the hulking suspect for 27 years.

Asa candidly confesses she and her kids — daughter Victoria, 26, and son Christopher, 33 — are shattered as they confront the terrifying possibility Heuermann lived a secret double life as a murderer!

“They have been crying themselves to sleep and I’ve been crying myself to sleep, too,” admits Asa, who filed for divorce last month — less than a week after the Manhattan architect was hauled away in cuffs and held without bail after pleading not guilty. 

Asa says Victoria doesn’t “feel human” after lawmen brutalized their home in a relentless 12-day search for evidence that shredded the family couch and destroyed beds and other property. Christopher, who has special needs, is “distraught and doesn’t understand” exactly what’s happened since his dad’s bust, Asa says.

“As a mother, I have no answers for him,” she reveals.
