GC and Rami ready to wed

After first getting engaged more than a decade ago, Rami Hawash proposes to Gemma Collins in the Maldives, presenting her with a "huge" engagement ring

It’s definitely a case of third time lucky for newly-engaged Gemma Collins, as she plans to finally walk down the aisle with her “soulmate” fiancé, Rami Hawash.

The businessman proposed to the reality TV star, 43, for the third time during their romantic break to the Maldives – and she said yes (again)!

With the ring – which the bride-to-be said was “huge” – firmly back on her finger and Gemma telling fans to “get ya hats ready”, a source told new that it’s full steam ahead with planning for the big day.

“Gemma has always been in love with being in love and getting married is all she’s ever dreamed of and wanted,” they said. “Rami has always been her real true love and they’re soulmates, but he was almost the one that got away. She’s waited so long for this and, of course, she wants a fairytale wedding.”

The source added that Gemma was already feeling the pressure of planning the occasion, but has a strong group of close friends around her. “She’s already putting a bit of stress on herself,” said the source. “Friends are telling her, ‘Don’t panic, you have to enjoy it’, which she will, but she wants it to be perfect. She’s waited a long time for Mr Right.”
