One lady clearly ready to take 2025 by storm is Ferne McCann. The reality star is in for a busy 12 months, starting off with her upcoming stint on sparkling ITV show Dancing On Ice. “I’m so excited, Dancing On Ice is going to be really fun,” says the bubbly mum-of-two, as we chat in her gorgeous Essex home.
As we settle in for our family photoshoot and interview, it’s clear to see Ferne is at her happiest surrounded by home comforts. “Home really is where my heart is – it fills my cup to be here and to host my friends and family, I just love it,” says Ferne, who shares her abode with fiancé Lorri Haines and her children; Sunday, seven, and 17-month-old Finty.
“I love having trinkets and memories around the house, everything has a meaning. But Lorri is the opposite, he’s a complete minimalist! So you’ll see our kitchen looks really clear but then there are little corners of the house with all of my little bits, which I love," says Ferne.
Although she admits, "This isn't our forever home, but it is our 'for-now' home. It's perfect for now, but we don't see ourselves staying here." While she is upbeat and ready for the year ahead, life's not been plain sailing recently. Late last year, Ferne and Lorri were hit with false split rumours, which led to them taking to social media to tell fans they are in a "committed relationship".
And the star, who shares Finty with Lorri, has clearly moved on, opening up about hitting the ice, keeping the spark alive with Lorri and juggling it all while being a devoted mum.
Addressing those painful "split" rumours, which the 34-year-old says were "so out of the blue", Ferne reveals, "My heart sankI even had family members messaging me and asking what had happened. But we are good. We feel like we have to justify ourselves sometimes because, you know, every couple has their ups and downs."
