A host of TV stars dazzled on ITV’s blue carpet on Tuesday as they hot-footed it through the evening chill to the channel’s exciting Palooza event in central London.
Lorraine Kelly, Susanna Reid, Carol Vorderman and their famous friends shone in their glamorous get-ups as they headed into Covent Garden’s Theatre Royal for ITV’s showcase of upcoming series.
Love Island winners Sammy Root and Jess Harding arrived separately after breaking up in October. Sammy told OK! he’s not looking for a new romance, saying, “I’m keeping myself very busy, just working on myself – it’s still very soon after Jess.”
Jess, who avoided an awkward run-in with her ex, later revealed she’s focused on being an “independent” woman. “I don’t even have time to get my lashes done, let alone see a boy!”
Coronation Street’s Elle Mulvaney and co-star Jodie Prenger, who play Amy Barlow and Glenda Shuttleworth, revealed they’re cheering on “sensational” colleague Ellie Leach as she tackles Strictly Come Dancing – but said they wouldn’t do it themselves.
“When I did Oliver the musical, I used to bend down and just bounce along to the steps,” Jodie admitted.
Elle, meanwhile, revealed there’s more romance on the cards for Corrie’s Amy and Aadi. “It’s all going on in classic soap fashion,” she confided. “We’re going to see Amy and Aadi grow a bit closer and we’ve got a really exciting Barlows’ Christmas.”
