The Prince and Princess of Wales have had an eventful couple of weeks. As they’ve continued to carry out a packed itinerary of engagements on both sides of the pond, tensions have been rising over what was likely to be revealed in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s bombshell documentary series.
Only days before Harry & Meghan was set to air on Netflix, William and Catherine, both 40, were in Boston celebrating climate innovation with the second annual Earthshot Prize.
Behind-the-scenes photographs taken after the awards ceremony, show the royal couple’s minds remain firmly on each other and that their bond is stronger than ever.
In one of the intimate black-and-white snaps released on their official Twitter feed, the prince and princess can be seen gazing lovingly at each other, while another shows Kate proudly clapping William from the wings of the stage. In a third, she greets him with a warm laugh as, binder still in hand, he joins her after his speech.
The images, taken after five winners were each awarded £1 million to fund their innovative projects, were captioned, “Behind the scenes at the second annual #EarthshotPrize awards ceremony. Celebrating brilliant solutions and the inspiring people behind them!”
