NEW HORROR COMEDY
Generation Z
Sunday & Monday, 9pm, C4 (box set, Channel 4) There's a chance to see some of TV's biggest stars as you've never seen them before in C4's gory, darkly comic horror Generation Z, which follows a group of OAPs who are turned into zombie-like killers.
Set in the fictional town of Dambury, the six-parter begins with Cecily (Sue Johnston) enjoying a moonlit evening with her boyfriend Frank (Paul Bentall) when they're suddenly overcome by noxious fumes that spread through their retirement home.
In a horrifying turn of events, an Army truck carrying an unknown toxic chemical has overturned on the outskirts of Dambury, leaving the pensioners, including Janine (Anita Dobson), with an appetite for human flesh that revitalises them with every bite.
