MAKE ME PRIME MINISTER

Could you run the country? Well, 12 ambitious members of the public believe they have what it takes as they throw their hats into the ring for C4’s new competition, Make Me Prime Minister.
With differing viewpoints from across the political spectrum, the candidates will be put through their paces on a campaign trail led by political heavyweights Baroness Sayeeda Warsi and Alastair Campbell.
Creating new policies, handling diplomatic crises and avoiding domestic gaffes, the hopefuls must prove they have the political vision to take office, with the strongest being voted C4’s Alternative Prime Minister.
Here, former Labour campaign director Alastair, 65, and Baroness Warsi, 51, who served as co-Chair of the Conservative Party, give TV Times their spin on the six-part series…
