Iconic British skincare brand Liz Earle Beauty has long strived to reduce its impact on the environment and you can play a part, too

Sourced with care

Beauty is more than just skin deep; that's why Liz Earle Beauty has endeavoured to monitor its impact on the environment, consciously sourcing its botanical ingredients in ethical ways, since the very beginning.

Working with its dedicated ethnobotanist, James Wong, the brand - loved for its naturally effective products - prefers to work in tandem with nature, rather than against it. Take the cranberry oil used in the Superskin™ range, for instance, which is extracted from food waste. "This is a great way to get hold of the most potent part of the plant, as the protective chemicals are concentrated in skins and seeds," James explains. "At the same time, you're using far less land and resources to get that ingredient."
