Goa Shipyard Ltd. (GSL), Vasco has launched the first-ever indigenously made pollution control vessel, for the Indian Coast Guard.

The contract of Rs 582 Crores for the construction of two Pollution Control Vessels has already been signed by the Goa Shipyard, this was the first vessel to be released.
This is a pioneering crusade in history as this is the advent of constructing designing, and building vessels indigenously. The accomplishment of such a milestone is a notable movement, which additionally promotes the 'Aatmanirbhar' campaign of the Indian government as well.
