Matthew, happy to have you on FHM, what plans are in the works for you this year?

This year starts the first year of my semi-retirement. In my semiretirement, I plan to focus on promoting Private Placement Life Insurance Policies (a very highlevel tax strategy), writing books, and promoting business retreats and workshops at my estate in Medellin, Colombia.

Being a successful businessman and respected in your field, let's get into what it is you do?

I am a Global Estate Planner. Establishing Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI) policies for celebrities and the world's wealthiest people is what I do. My mentor operates in more than 111 countries, and he introduced me to PPLI, which in my opinion, is the "Holy Grail" of all tax strategies. It is a triedand-true tax strategy promoted by some of the largest law firms in the world including #5 Baker McKenzie.
