A chartered accountant from Mumbai who was also the promoter of Ritz Consultancy Services Company, Amber Dalal, was arrested by the Mumbai police in Rishikesh on Tuesday night. Dalal is alleged to have duped 512 investors of Rs 380.79 crore in a Ponzi scheme. He was produced before a special court and Mumbai Police sought his custody for 14 days. The court has remanded him in police custody till April 1.
