S Hospital, once a beacon of hope for the poor and middle-class citizens, now teeters on the brink of closure amid allegations of corruption and financial misconduct.

Sources reveal that the hospital has recently submitted bills dating back 7 to 10 years for clearance, despite its current minimal operations.

According to regulations, in the AMC or any affiliated institutions, purchase bills must be submitted within six months; any delay beyond this period requires the municipal commissioner's approval.

It has come to light that a former VS Superintendent had issued a circular prohibiting the submission of such outdated bills.
