Tit-for-tat exchanges spark fears of full-scale war

HEZBOLLAH claimed it fired a missile at Israeli's Mossad HQ in Tel Aviv, as tensions in the region escalated dramatically.

It is the first time the Lebanese militant group has targeted the city since the current conflict started after the October 7 Hamas attack.

Yesterday's missile was shot down and no casualties were reported.

Hezbollah claims the attempted strike was in retaliation for the deaths of dozens of its operatives in last week's exploding pagers and wireless devices attacks which killed a leading commander.
