A FORMER NHS worker has been sentenced to seven years in prison for poisoning a young child with laxatives.
Tracy Menhinick, 52, gave the boy “industrial” amounts of the laxative lactulose, which resulted in his growth being stunted and his hospitalisation.
One expert witness said he resembled a “survivor from a concentration camp”.
Menhinick was found guilty after a trial at the High Court in Aberdeen.
