NICOLAS KUHN put the Rapid into Vienna and now his impending arrival at Celtic is set to give Brendan Rodgers' champions a much-needed turbo boost for the second half of their Premiership title push.
The Hoops have agreed a deal of just over £ 3 million to land the German winger from the Austrian outfit and he has now arrived in the United Kingdom to finalise his big-money switch.
The former German Under-20 star is set to become Rodgers' first signing of the January window.
And former Hearts star Thomas Flogel believes Kuhn has the speed and the ability to really hit the ground running at Celtic Park.
As an avid observer of the Austrian Bundesliga, Flogel should know.
He said: "Kuhn came from Germany and he is a really talented player, one of the best players at Rapid Vienna this season.
"I know they haven't had the best of seasons in the league but, in my mind, he was one of their more technical players.
"He is at his best when he gets one-on-one. He is a really fast player and likes to take defenders and opponents on.
"He is really talented and his pace makes him really hard to play against and stop.
"When he is on his game he definitely worries defenders.
Kuhn came through the ranks at RB Leipzig before moving into the senior game with Ajax and Bayern Munich.
