KATE Garraway has said there was no feeling of relief when husband Derek Draper died, and that her only regret was not spending more time holding his hand.
The 56-year-old was in tears as she shared her thoughts in ITV documentary Derek’s Story, broadcast last night.
Derek died on January 3 after battling the severe effects of Covid for more than three years. The virus damaged all of the former lobbyist’s major organs.
