KILLIAN PHILLIPS knows Aberdeen shouldn't be sitting where they are in the league with or without a manager.
The on-loan midfielder helped Dons into the semi-final of the Scottish Cup with a win over Kilmarnock on Saturday - which then saw Neil Warnock step down as interim boss.
First-team coach Peter Leven is in temporary charge again and takes the team for tomorrow night's Premiership clash at Dundee.
Phillips and his Aberdeen team-mates will be looking to take confidence from their cup win to take into the league as they look to end their winless run and scramble away from the drop zone.
Phillips said: "When I spoke to Jamie McGrath, he told me how big a club it was and how passionate the fans are.
"I had an inclination when I was coming up as to how big Aberdeen is. It is a huge club.
"It shouldn't be sitting 10th in the league and it is up to us to turn it around."
