SUPERSTAR Rory Mcllroy has admitted he was "to judgemental" of players who defected to LIV Golf.
The Northern Irishmar ripped into the Saudi-backed league when it launched in 2022, accusing defecting stars of "leaving all your peers behind to go make more money" and telling them "don't try and come back to the PGA Tour.
Although he has no intention of joining LIV Golf, McIlroy's position on the matter has softened.
And the four-time Major winner now regrets criticising those who have signed up to the league, admitting he can't judge people for making that decision". Several Major winners have joined LIV Golf during the last two years, including Cameron Smith, Sergio Garcia, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson.
