Pep knew his City stars had the talent to get out of title trouble with hero Kev sparking comeback
NO CRISIS OF FAITH

PEP GUARDIOLA reckons Manchester City have come alive again after staring down a Premier League title "crisis".

This was a big moment in the title race. At half-time Newcastle led 2-1, and still were when Belgian playmaker Kevin de Bruyne came off the bench in the 69th minute.

Twenty-one minutes later, City boss Guardiola was celebrating victory after supersub De Bruyne conjured up a goal and an assist.

Just as Guardiola had planned. He said: "Talent made the difference. I said that to the players at half-time. I said 'You are amazing, stick together and we will do it".

City looked like slipping five points adrift of Liverpool after brilliant goals on the break from Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon overhauled Bernardo Silva's superb flicked opener for City.
