A SCOTLAND jersey worn during the 3-2 win over World Cup winners England at Wembley in 1967 is expected to fetch up to £10,000 at auction next month.

Eddie McCreadie played left-back as Scotland inflicted England's first loss since lifting the Jules Rimet trophy at the same venue a year earlier.

At the end of the historic match, Eddie swapped shirts on the pitch with England's World Cup hero Geoff Hurst as fans declared Scotland the unofficial new world champions.

Eddie's jersey will go under the hammer at the Trades Hall in Glasgow, and online, on April 10.

The No3 jersey, which comes with a photograph of Hurst commiserating his team-mates on the pitch, is estimated to fetch between £7000 and £10,000.
