Five-star show gets Kop's 20th title party started

THEY don't go in for coronations much around these parts.

But when it comes to their beloved football team, Liverpool supporters make an exception.

And this is what the visit of Tottenham to Anfield was.

The crowning of the best side in England where Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Arne Slot are accepted as royalty. Of the footballing kind, of course.

Anfield bathed in the glow of being able to host a proper title party.

Back in 2020, when Liverpool won their first title in three decades, Covid ruined the celebrations. But this time round, these all-conquering players got the adulation and admiration they deserved.

There will be a title parade through the city centre in the coming weeks.
