Cash cows for the council. In these austere times motorists are being persecuted by cash strapped councils who make their jobsworth wardens patrol 24hrs per day. I was booked for parking in a loading bay because I wasn’t observed to be continually loading despite not being there for longer than 20 minutes so that is like a whole nights wages gone for nothing. The Star recently accused private car parking firms of being bullies and exploiting poor motorists well local councils are just as guilty. anon

I was kept waiting ages on the phone to NHS to get info about appointments but no AGENT was available, what good is some ignoramous who knows nothing about medical matters. No wonder the NHS is in chaos. J Pullin
