Oppn mounts attack on BJP calls for action against Shah

Members of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) on Wednesday set aside differences to come together and attack the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over Union home minister Amit Shah's comment referring to Dr BR Ambedkar, jamming Parliament and holding protests.

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge demanded Shah's resignation. "We want Amit Shah to quit his post and if he doesn't, I want to tell the PM that if he has even little respect for Babasaheb, he should dismiss Amit Shah from his post before midnight," he said.
