Animal rescue makes appeal over refit help

AN animal rescue centre is facing closure as the owner can't find an engineer needed for essential works.

PAWS Animal Rescue, which has been saving pets for decades, only has until March 30 to submit plans to the county council.

Owner Gina Hetherington is making a public plea for an engineer to come forward and help, before it's too late.

Gina said: “We take in the dogs nobody else wants. We take in the battered and bruised.”
