Six benches were constituted at the District Courts and one bench at the Sub-Division Courts for the purpose of resolving pending cases through amicable settlement.
The Adalat was organized under the directives of V.P. Sirohi, District and Sessions Judge, Panchkula.
V.P. Sirohi stated that the benches took up cases from various categories, including civil disputes, criminal compoundable cases, family disputes, traffic challans, cheque bounce cases under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, and other matters suitable for settlement.
