Car park spots blocked over erosion worry

One visitor said they arrived at the National Trust run car park at Wembury to find a number of barriers in place - but knocked over due to fierce winds.

The car park - which used to be free to all but now requests a nominal fee of £6 for nonmembers between February 1 and October 31 and £3 from November 1 to January 31 - is located at the end of a lane running down to the beach which grants visitors a splendid view of the Great Mewstone.
