FORESTRY bosses have urged people not to dump spent or unwanted pumpkins in forests or woodlands this Halloween, as they can harm wildlife and attract unwanted pests.

Millions of pumpkins are now on supermarket shelves and will make their way to gardens, porches, and windowsills across the region - but are soon to be unwanted waste.
