THE gardens at a Plymouth estate are bursting into life with colourful blooms.
Saltram is undergoing a stunning transformation with early blooms setting the stage for what's to come at the National Trust property.
Head Gardener Martin Stott says 'the show has only just begun' and he is urging people to see the beauty for themselves.
Martin, who has been Head Gardener for four years, said: "Each season brings its own magic. This year, the garden's famed summer border and the revitalised orange grove will be areas of particular interest.
"Early visitors to Saltram can witness the first hints of colour from irises and ragged robin (silene floscuculi), setting the scene for the dramatic floral displays that peak in the height of summer."
