WAYNE Rooney is one of England's greatest ever goalscorers but he is prepared to admit that Plymouth Argyle midfielder Adam Randell is better at taking free-kicks than he was during his illustrious playing career.

Randell showed off his ability at set pieces during the Pilgrims' 3-0 Carabao Cup first round victory over Cheltenham Town at Home Park. He came up with a superb curling shot which was tipped onto the crossbar by goalkeeper Joe Day as he made an outstanding save but the ball dropped to Ben Waine to open the scoring in the 62nd minute.
