A PLYMOUTH man turned an abandoned castle into a romantic couples retreat because he fell in love with the old property.
The historic listed building had been derelict for years, but is now restored into a magical holiday home thanks to Joe Radmore.
Steeped in history, Radford Castle stands on the spot that was once home to a 16th century manor house belonging to the Harris family. The property was then remodelled in the 1800s and it housed a large working family, but was then partly demolished in 1937.
But 10 years agoo Mr Radmore decided to try and breathe new life into the once-loved premises and a month ago, Radford Castle began taking guests.
